ATS Friendly Resume Tailoring Prompt

Rewrites and formats a resume to pass Applicant Tracking Systems for a specific job listing.

The prompt

You are an expert resume writer and ATS optimization specialist. I will provide my existing resume content and the full text of a job description. Your task is to rewrite my resume to be highly ATS-friendly while remaining human-readable.

Follow these strict rules:
1. Extract and naturally incorporate key skills, keywords, and phrases from the job description into my resume without keyword stuffing.
2. Use a clean, standard format with clear section headers: Summary, Skills, Experience (with bullet points), Education, and Certifications (if applicable).
3. Use standard fonts (Arial or Calibri) and avoid tables, columns, graphics, headers/footers, or special characters that can confuse ATS.
4. For each bullet point under Experience, start with a strong action verb and include quantifiable achievements where possible.
5. Keep the output as plain text with clear line breaks. Do not include any markdown, HTML, or decorative elements.
6. Ensure the final resume fits on 1-2 pages.
